Other tea companies use food grade herbs, which may taste good, but may not contain the active components required for medicinal benefit. There are 5 separate grades of herbs in commerce, the highest grade is pharmacopoeial and Traditional Medicinals only use medicinal grade/pharmacopoeial herbs.
