Since we want to think of sustainability as a core element of our organization, we integrated this concept in our business principles, which describe our responsibilities and commitments towards our stakeholders. Based on these business principles and our mission, we have identified a number of themes that will lead us to realizing sustainable growth in the coming 5 years.

In June 2008 Wessanen issued the group Sustainability Report 2007, thereby giving insight in out efforts and performance in the area of these themes. The reporting process is based on the GRI guidelines (G3).
